Acting & Production in Film 1 & 2
This course explores the fundementals of acting and film production, guiding students through acting techniques, on-set language, writing and directing, implementing feedback, and post-production processes. Students will create three major short film projects alongside smaller assignments to build practical skills.

Acting 1
This foundational course introduces students to essential acting techniques with a focus on voice, movement, and character development.
Students will explore key methods from the Meisner and Stanislavski approaches to build authentic and dynamic performances. Emphasis is
placed on mastering vocal clarity and control, physical expressiveness, and understanding character objectives through action verbs. Through practical exercises and scene work, students will develop confidence and skills necessary for effective storytelling on stage.

Advanced Drama
This course invites students to dive deep into the art and craft of drama, exploring storytelling, character development, script analysis, directing, producing, and auditioning. Through a combination of theory, practical
exercises, and collaborative projects, students will build advanced skills to create compelling performances and productions. Whether aspiring actors, directors, or producers, students will gain a rich understanding of how stories come to life on stage and how to bring characters and narratives to full dramatic expression. This course emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and professional readiness for the world of theater.

Technical Theater
This hands-on, independent study course empowers students to take ownership of their learning while mastering the
essential skills behind the scenes in theater production. Covering stagecraft, lighting, sound, costumes, props, and stage
management, students will gain practical experience building and running theatrical productions. Emphasizing teamwork,
technical precision, and creative problem-solving, this course prepares students to contribute confidently and
independently to all facets of live performance production.
